Depending on your region, when you update your LG Note II, aka F200S, F200K and F200L, to Android Jelly Bean 4.1.x, you might encounter WiFi problems. It might not be able to scan the WiFi networks at all or it might successfully scan the networks but not be able to connect to it. This is not a hardware problem but a limitation of Android Jelly Bean. For fixing it, you’ll either need to root your LG Note II and install “WiFix” for fixing the WiFi in stock ROM, or you will need to flash a custom Jelly Bean ROM.
Fix WiFi in stock ROM using WiFix
For fixing WiFi under stock F200 ROM, please follow the steps below:
- On your phone, go to “Settings” and turn off WiFi.
- Go to “Settings > Developer options” and enable “USB Debugging”.
- Download and install LG USB Drivers if not already installed:
- Root your F200 by following the guide below:
- Download WiFix.apk from the link below and copy it to the internal storage of your device:
- Go to “Settings > Security” and enable “Unknown sources”.
- Open File Manager from Android menu and tap on “Wifi-Manager.apk”. Choose “Install” when prompted.
- Go back to Android menu and open “WiFix Manager”.
- Choose “Install WiFix”.
- In the SuperSU permission pop-up, choose “Grant”.
- Reboot your phone.
- Now you can enable WiFi and can successfully connect to any WiFi networks around you.
- That’s it
Root file is not installing.....????huh
